Guess Who's Bizackkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!

I'm backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk! Yeah!! It feels so good to open the laptop and log on to Pinklippstik. I miss you guys sooo much!! I would like to first apologize for my absence. As you all know, I have been working towards getting my master's degree in Human Resource Management. I have entered my second semester as a graduate student and it's kicking my butt! Ugh!! For those who know me, you know that I am a perfectionist....I am my own worst critic and I'm a nerd.

I waited nearly 5 years to go back to school to pursue my master's degree. And, let's just say that wasn't the best decision. Five years of relaxation, traveling and sleeping, and then attempting to tackle a graduate program?? What the hell was I thinking? However, I never back down from a challenge, so up the hill I went. And, to be quite honest, I fell several times. I have never cried so much in my life. Working a 9-5, taking two graduate courses, gym and trying to have a social life took a toll on my sanity. I would like to thank my sissy, because she sat and listened to me complain and cheered me up. Anywho, nothing is worth having without the struggle. Beauty and Brains! POW!

Soooooo, now that school has concluded for the semester, I now have some down time.....and boy, am I excited. Party promoters, I encourage you to flood my FB inbox with party invitations. lol..(jk).

Dolls, we have so much catching up to do. Although I was busy with school, I stored all of my blog ideas that I anticipated on sharing with you guys in my mental Rolodex. During my last post, I discussed the Holidays....geesh! Has it been that long?? Nevertheless, I am working on some exciting new posts. So stay tuned! And I appreciate the love!

Happy Holidays Dolls-

I absolutely love the holidays! Yes, I am a holiday whore. lol. However, I can do without the cold weather. I'm a summer baby. But, the holiday season  makes me feel all warm inside, and it is also an extremely busy time for me. There is always a holiday or birthday party to attend and an opportunity to spend time with family and friends.

Every Christmas I say to myself  "Self, you will start Christmas shopping early and  not wait until Christmas Eve to finish." Unfortunately, mission was not accomplished. Yet again, I waited until the last minute to finish my Christmas shopping. Luckily, the malls weren't as crowded as expected. So, I was in and out in 4 hours. lol.

The real reason why I always get stuck shopping on Christmas Eve is due to my shopping addiction. Initially, I began my Christmas shopping in November. But, I  get side tracked by my own selfishness. Hence, I forget the reason for my visit to the mall and start shopping for myself.

My company's holiday party was one of the first parties I attended. It took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Towson, MD. The theme of the night was "Night at the Oscar's." It included red carpet, lights, camera and paparazzi! Cute, Right? The dress etiquette was formal. Women wore long gowns and men in suits. Of course, I have to be different and rebellious. I chose a fitted women's red suit with a bow tie and a 4 inch black pump. The look was Fabulous, if I must say so myself.

Oh, by the way......I was selected for jury duty during the week of all the festivities! Ugh! I absolutely hate Jury duty. And, I just knew they weren't going to choose me, because they never select me!! WRONG! I was chosen for a 6 day trial as madame Foreman : ( Nevertheless, it was a mini vacation from work!

My best friend in the whole wide world Ryan is one year older this year!! We have been friends since middle school. At times, Ryan and I have a volatile relationship. We both are so honest with one another, that we tend to butt head at times. We break up and make up all the time. She knows anything I say to her is out of love. We can argue one day and not talk for days....but we always seem to forgive and forget. That's true friendship....Love my Doll! Don't know what I would do without her.

She invited a few of the gals to Milan's on Friday to help celebrate her Birthday. We dressed up and were in route to the party, when Ryan called me and advised that Milan's had a water main break and was now closed. : (

So, she moved the party to Mansion. Thia was my 1st time at Mansion. Although, it wasn't crowded, we still had a ball. We make the party wherever we go! Cuz we like to party, Ayeeeee!!

The following weekend, I attended my co-worker Tonia Tree Trimming Party for a couple of hours, than I hurried to Dee and Benny's Holiday Tree Trimming Party. I will post a new blog next week for the rest of the Holiday festivies. It's too much to post for one blog! lol. Happy Holidays Everyone!

I DIE...............The King & Queen of Hip Hop!

I love Rachel Zoe! Now, I adored her prior to her fame as a reality TV star. She is a fashion stylist best known for working with celebrities, fashion houses, beauty firms, advertising agencies, and magazine editors. Zoe officially announced that she will be releasing a clothing line, with the intention of turning it into a full lifestyle brand. The line was released this Fall 2011.

 Zoe intends on wearing the brand, which is completely different from her QVC line which she launched earlier in the year. Her line is intended to contain accessories, shoes, apparel, and fur vest. And recently, Zoe gave birth to a son, Skyler Morrison Berman.

Isn't this the cutest!!! lol..Look at his infant-size sunshades! He actually looks like a mini version of Elton John! Nevertheless, It's FABOLOUS!!!!!

Everyone knows that I am a HUGE Jay-z and Beyonce fan. Now, I always thought they were the perfect couple. The King and Queen of Hip Hop! Beyonce announced her pregnancy on the MTV awards several months ago. I immediately went into mourning!! : ( I love Jay and Bey, however, I'm a little jealous when it comes to Jay! I was ok with Bey being the wife, but I wanted to be the baby "mova." *dead serious* Anyway, the depression eventually passed and I was able to cope with the fact that she stole my MAN!

Beyonce's performance on the MTV awards was MAJOR! Only Queen Bey can announce her pregnancy with  such class!! I was screaming, my sis was screaming...and we replayed that moment a thousand times. Take a peep at the video...I know I'm late posting this....I'm sure she's due soon. lol..However, school preoccupied my time, so I'm playing catch-up with Pop culture.
